Dear 9/11 Deaf Responder, Ray B.:
To answer your question. I have a Deaf Life Magazine article written by Matthew Moore, whom is Deaf himself, Deaf Life Editor. Title: Ten years after 9/11, Deaf victims and survivors. Date: September, 2011
      Pages. 35-36.

The 3 remaining Deaf 9/11 Deaf survivors names are: Carol Andreaen, Susan Zupnik, and Robert Jucaruso, NTID/RIT alumni and old friends, all worked for the New York Port Authority. Sue was a systems designer; Robert and Carl were computer programmers. They got together every morning to meet at the 43rd floor of Tower One for their “Deaf Breakfast Club.” Sue worked on the 64th Floor South of Tower A went down on the stairs, except for Robert used the elevator and got out safely, he did’nt have a pager. They all 3 survived.

The 2 remaining Deaf 9/11 victims died whose names are: Nicky Pietrunti and Leon Lebor. There names are written on the Museum and Memorial wall. It does’nt say which floor and toweres the twosome were located.

      In respect,

      J.G., Tampa, FL.
