I thoroughly enjoyed the iDeafNews interview with Gregg Brooks! Never before did I know too much about his impressive background. There should be a Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Hall of Fame to identify all those that have contributed to the betterment of our deaf and h-h communities as well as to their hearing counterparts to learn more about people like Gregg and others to emulate or as role models. Congratulations and thank you for the terrific interview!

Big congrats for your success with Emmy Award.A great pleasure to watch your interview and glad you are doing well. You are the best example in overcoming the handicapped status. It has been years since I last saw you and I still remember the day you came to WVa during the NY EVE weekend. Anyhow, I sure hope you stays busy like me despite of retirement and for me too, I work with mentally ill patients at the hospital in Wheeling. I try to stay active as much as I can and love working with one autistic kid and 2 moderate mentally retarded adults. Hope you find this commentary and send me an e-mail if you have time.

I have had no idea of where you have been until I saw you on the vlog. You look great. I can remember how you looked in college days when we were good friends. I am glad to know about your life in Hollywood, Calif. I hope to see you in person some day. I hope you recognize my name. Priscilla Jahn Flanagan, ’63

Congrats, Greg!! Over the years I have heard bits and pieces of my old Gallaudet classmate and your experiences in Hollywood and this vlog fills many of the blanks. You pioneered in a challenging and very competitive field and I applaud your persistence to make things happen. Like you, I am now retired but have no thoughts of really slowing down. We are starting a “new life” so Greg, I wish you much success and happiness. Thanks to i Deaf News for making it happen

I would like to say, Wow!!! It was extremely touching story about his life, experience, jobs and theater. I am very impressed that Gregg Brooks told the story. I would love to read his book when his book will come out in the future. Good Luck for his future plan!!! I love this! *Biggest Applause to Gregg Brooks*! Because he was first deaf who worked at Walt Disney Studio’s Library and he can do it to become successful. That’s wonderful to expose to children who are deaf/hard of hearing and hearing can look up who he is. It is worth for that! I really enjoyed to watch this vlog! =)
